Dr Arundhati Hoskeri has profoundly impacted my life and career and continues to do so. Very early in my educational journey, while other teachers were asking me to drop out of school to pursue private education (assuming I was not intellectually capable), Dr Hoskeri and Dr Govind Hoskeri showed immense belief and championed me. That resulted in me graduating with distinction not only on my SSC boards but also changed the trajectory of my life. After their impact, I would get into the colleges of my choice, choose the career of my choice, and most recently, even work in a leadership position in New York City while simultaneously pursuing an MBA from Columbia University.
